More Proof…

…That the “scientific community” and the MSM is doing everything it can to undermine masculine fatherhood. (Also, you can refer here and here and consider the disastrous effects of such “studies”).

Some pinhead specializing in “analytics” or “branding” determined that the study reported in the article above would be believable as long as it didn’t involve the size of the, er, other thing. Smart move. I totally believe it now.

C.S. Lewis might agree with me. From The Screwtape Letters (Letter XX, on the misdirections and suggestions employed by the forces of evil in connection with humans and sex) we find this:

In a rough and ready way, of course, this question is decided for us by spirits far deeper down in the Lowerarchy than you and I. It is the business of these great masters to produce in every age a general misdirection of what may be called sexual “taste”. This they do by working through the small circle of popular artists, dressmakers, actresses and advertisers who determine the fashionable type. The aim is to guide each sex away from those members of the other with whom spiritually helpful, happy, and fertile marriages are most likely. Thus we have now for many centuries triumphed over nature to the extent of making certain secondary characteristics of the male (such as the beard) disagreeable to nearly all the females-and there is more in that than you might suppose.

With such a low count (ahem) of participants in the study group, the conclusions that can be drawn from it are pretty much insignificant, other than to perpetuate the same tired claims: that the “sexually virile” man is good for one thing — mating — while the less endowed, more effeminate men are better at “fathering”. Not-so-implicit subtext: masculinity and promiscuity (not to mention irresponsibility) go together and are natural inclinations that one should simply embrace.

Go ahead. Be who you are. You’re born that way. Says Screwtape. And that pop singer who wears meat (meat-based apparel is the worst way to use meat. I mean, her credibility is shot right there).
